Your Questions About Assisted Living Answered

If you’re exploring Assisted Living programs for yourself or a family member, you likely have questions about what to expect. Contact our friendly team to learn more about calling Wilshire Senior Living your new home. We’ve also answered some of our more commonly asked questions below.

1. What Is Assisted Living?

Assisted Living is a care program within a senior living community like Wilshire Senior Living. Residents have their own private home but benefit from services and amenities like housekeeping, daily meals, and nurse care. They are also encouraged to socialize and participate in fun activities.

2. Do Assisted Living Residents Cook?

Assisted Living residents don’t have to cook in our community. We provide three balanced and delicious meals every day. Residents can dine at home, in our bistro, or in our main dining room. However, they are also welcome to prepare snacks and beverages in their in-home kitchenettes.

3. Can Assisted Living Residents Have Pets?

We know how hard it can be to say goodbye to pets and move into an Assisted Living community. Wilshire Senior Living is pet-friendly, which means Assisted Living residents can bring their pets with them. Please contact us to learn more about our pet policy.

4. Do Assisted Living Residents Live in Shared Housing?

We offer six different floor plans in our community, including studios, one-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom apartments. Residents don’t have to share. In fact, their homes are their private spaces. They also have private patios and courtyard access.
